IMPORTANT DATES & INFORMATION

GRAD FEST

• Barnes & Noble @ Southern Miss will host Grad Fest for Fall 2025 degree candidates to have the convenience of taking care of all of their graduation needs at one time and place. Students may purchase and receive regalia on these days, order invitations, class rings, and visit with other campus representatives. While this event is not mandatory, students are encouraged to attend and receive their regalia early by coming to enjoy Grad Fest on the following dates:  
  • Hattiesburg Campus (Barnes & Noble): Monday, September 22, 2025, from 10:00 a.m – 5:00 p.m. and Tuesday, September 23, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
  • USM Gulf Park Campus (Barnes & Noble): Wednesday, September 24, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. 

REGALIA

• You may keep your entire regalia package.

ONLINE ORDERING

• Commencement regalia may be ordered online starting on Thursday, September 25, 2025, through the late ordering deadline of Monday, November 3, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. CT.  A $25 late fee will apply beginning October 28, 2025, to all orders submitted up until 11:59 p.m. CT on November 3, 2025, when online ordering will close.  If you miss the November 3, 2025, deadline, you will need to visit the Barnes & Noble bookstore on your campus starting Tuesday, December 9, 2025, to be fitted from a limited supply of extras.  A $25 late fee will be assessed for all orders fulfilled at that time.

REFUND REQUEST DEADLINE

• Online ordering graduates may visit www.gradsupply.com/student-orders to request a refund for their Fall 2025 order by 11:59 p.m. CT on Wednesday, November 5, 2025.  After Wednesday, November 5, 2025, all regalia orders become non-refundable.

REGALIA DISTRIBUTION (Online Orders)

• IF YOU CHOSE IN-STORE PICK-UP

  • HATTIESBURG CAMPUS:  Your regalia will be available for pick-up at the Barnes & Noble at The University of Southern Mississippi – Hattiesburg Campus Bookstore on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, and Wednesday, December 10, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.  Please contact the Hattiesburg Campus Bookstore starting Tuesday, December 9, 2025, to arrange a pick-up time if you are unable to attend during the designated pick-up dates.
  • GULF PARK CAMPUS:  Your regalia will be available for pick-up at the Barnes & Noble at Southern Miss – Gulf Park Campus Bookstore on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, and Wednesday, December 10, 2025, from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.   Please contact the Gulf Park Campus Bookstore starting December 9, 2025, to arrange a pick-up time if you are unable to attend during the designated pick-up dates.

• IF YOU CHOSE SHIP-TO-HOME  

  • Your regalia order will be shipped to you during the week of November 21, 2025.   

STUDENT REGALIA PRICES

All Student Regalia orders become non-refundable purchases after the November 5, 2025, refund request deadline.  Prices below do not reflect the additional $25 late fee that will be added to orders submitted after October 27, 2025, or the $20.00 fee that will be added to SHIP-TO-HOME orders. 

• BACHELOR PACKAGE – $77.98 before tax (Purchase – includes cap, custom bachelor gown w/zipper-pull, and tassel)
• MASTER/SPECIALIST PACKAGE – $147.98 before tax (Purchase – includes cap, custom master/specialist gown w/zipper-pull, hood, and tassel)
• DOCTOR PACKAGE – $182.98 before tax (Purchase – includes a deluxe black tam w/gold bullion tassel and a custom doctoral gown w/zipper-pull)
• OFFICIAL USM STOLE – $42.98 before tax (Optional Purchase – custom embroidered stole)
