SPRING CEREMONIES

• University Commencement – The Spring 2025 Commencement Ceremonies are scheduled to take place on Friday, May 9, 2025, in the USA Mitchell Center. Registration is required.  Please visit the university’s commencement site for more information by clicking here.
• Whiddon College of Medicine – The College of Medicine’s Spring 2025 Academic Hooding Ceremony is scheduled to take place on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at 8:00 a.m. in the USA Mitchell Center.  Please visit the College of Medicine’s ceremony website by clicking here.  You may also contact Frank Lucas at flucas@southalabama.edu if you have additional questions.
• College of Nursing – The College of Nursing’s Spring 2025 Convocation is scheduled to take place on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in the USA Mitchell Center.  Please visit the College of Nursing’s ceremony website by clicking here.  You may also contact Arnedra Wilson at aswilson@southalabama.edu if you have additional questions.
  

ONLINE ORDER DEADLINE

• • • PRIORITY DISTRIBUTION:  Monday, March 3, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. CT for distribution starting Monday, March 24, 2025.
    • STANDARD DISTRIBUTION:  Monday April 7, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. CT for distribution starting Wednesday, April 30, 2025 – If you miss this deadline, please visit our FAQ page for further instructions.

REFUND REQUEST DEADLINE:

Graduates may click here to request a cancellation and refund of their order by the dates listed below.

• • • PRIORITY DISTRIBUTION ORDERS (Orders placed on or before March 3, 2025):  Wednesday, March 5, 2025, by 11:59 p.m. CT
    • STANDARD DISTRIBUTION ORDERS (Orders placed after March 3, 2025, but on or before April 7, 2025):  Wednesday, April 9, 2025, by 11:59 p.m. CT

REGALIA DISTRIBUTION:

PRIORITY DISTRIBUTION ORDERS – Orders placed on or before March 3, 2025

• • • IF YOU CHOOSE IN-STORE PICK UP:  Starting Monday March 24, 2025, at 8:00 am inside the USA Campus Bookstore.  Please bring your student ID or driver’s license with you when you come to pick up your regalia.  If you have questions related to distribution, please visit our FAQ page.
    • IF YOU CHOOSE SHIP-TO-HOME:  Your regalia order will be shipped during the week of March 19, 2025.

STANDARD DISTRIBUTION ORDERS – Orders placed after March 3, 2025, but on or before April 7, 2025

• • • IF YOU CHOOSE IN-STORE PICK UP:  Starting Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at 8:00 am inside the USA Campus Bookstore.  Please bring your student ID or driver’s license with you when you come to pick up your regalia.  If you have questions related to distribution, please visit our FAQ page.
    • IF YOU CHOOSE SHIP-TO-HOME:  Your regalia order will be shipped during the week of April 23, 2025.

IF YOU DID NOT ORDER YOUR REGALIA BY THE APRIL 7, 2025, DEADLINE:  You will need to visit/contact the USA Campus Bookstore starting April 30, 2025, to purchase your regalia from a limited number of extras.  A $25 late fee will be assessed at that time.

STUDENT REGALIA PRICES

All student regalia orders are non-refundable purchases/rentals after the refund request deadlines listed above.    Prices below do not reflect the additional $25 late fee that will be added to orders placed after the April 7, 2025, deadline or the $20 shipping charge that will be added for SHIP-TO-HOME orders* 

• Bachelor Regalia – $59.38 (purchase – includes cap, gown, and tassel)
• Master/Specialist/Post-Grad Certificate Regalia – $109.98 (purchase – includes cap, gown, tassel, and hood)
• College of Medicine (MD and PhD) Regalia – $188.08 (purchase – navy tam w/gold bullion tassel, gown, and hood)
• All Other Doctoral Candidates – You have a choice of the following:
  • $122.08 (purchase – includes cap/tassel, gown, and hood) or
  • $188.08 (purchase – includes navy tam w/gold bullion tassel, gown, and hood)
