SPRING CEREMONIES

• University Commencement – The Spring 2026 Commencement Ceremony is scheduled to take place on Friday, May 8, 2026, in the USA Mitchell Center.  Please visit the university’s commencement site for more information by clicking here.
• Whiddon College of Medicine – The College of Medicine’s Spring 2026 Academic Hooding Ceremony is scheduled to take place on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. in the USA Mitchell Center.  You may visit the College of Medicine’s ceremony website by clicking here, and please contact comstudentrecords@southalabama.edu if you have additional questions. 
• College of Nursing –The USA College of Nursing will be hosting two ceremonies this spring.  The BSN Commitment to Caring Ceremony will take place on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the Student Center Ballroom.  The College of Nursing’s Spring 2026 DNP Hooding Ceremony is scheduled to take place on Thursday, May 7, 2026 with the location and time TBD.  Please visit the College of Nursing’s ceremony website by clicking here.  You may also contact Arnedra Wilson at aswilson@southalabama.edu if you have additional questions.

• • • PRIORITY DISTRIBUTION:  Monday, March 2, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. CT for distribution starting Wednesday, March 25, 2026.
    • STANDARD DISTRIBUTION:  Monday, April 6, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. CT for distribution starting Wednesday, April 29, 2026 – If you miss this deadline, please visit our FAQ page for further instructions.

REFUND REQUEST DEADLINE:

Graduates may click here to request a cancellation and refund of their order by the dates listed below.

• • • PRIORITY DISTRIBUTION ORDERS (Orders placed on or before March 2, 2026):  Wednesday, March 4, 2026, by 11:59 p.m. CT
    • STANDARD DISTRIBUTION ORDERS (Orders placed after March 2, 2026, but on or before April 6, 2026):  Wednesday, April 8, 2026, by 11:59 p.m. CT

REGALIA DISTRIBUTION:

PRIORITY DISTRIBUTION ORDERS – Orders placed on or before March 2, 2026

• • • IF YOU CHOOSE IN-STORE PICK UP:  Starting Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. inside the USA Campus Bookstore.  Please bring your student ID or driver’s license with you when you come to pick up your regalia.  If you have questions related to distribution, please visit our FAQ page.
    • IF YOU CHOOSE SHIP-TO-HOME:  Your regalia order will be shipped during the week of March 20, 2026.

STANDARD DISTRIBUTION ORDERS – Orders placed after March 2, 2026, but on or before April 6, 2026

• • • IF YOU CHOOSE IN-STORE PICK UP:  Starting Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. inside the USA Campus Bookstore.  Please bring your student ID or driver’s license with you when you come to pick up your regalia.  If you have questions related to distribution, please visit our FAQ page.
    • IF YOU CHOOSE SHIP-TO-HOME:  Your regalia order will be shipped during the week of April 24, 2026.

IF YOU DID NOT ORDER YOUR REGALIA BY THE APRIL 6, 2026, DEADLINE:  Starting April 29, 2026, a late order link will go live on this ordering site allowing graduates a chance to order and have it fulfilled at the USA Campus Bookstore.  Please note that the extra regalia quantities will be limited and a $25 late fee will be added to your total.

STUDENT REGALIA PRICES

All student regalia orders are non-refundable purchases/rentals after the refund request deadlines listed above.  Prices below do not reflect the additional $25 late fee that will be added to orders placed after the April 6, 2026, deadline or the $20 shipping charge that will be added for SHIP-TO-HOME orders* 

• Bachelor Regalia – $69.28 incl. tax (purchase – includes cap, gown, and tassel)
• Master/Specialist Regalia – $131.98 incl. tax (purchase – includes cap, gown, tassel, and hood)
• College of Medicine (MD and PhD) Regalia – $210.08 incl. tax (purchase – navy tam w/gold bullion tassel, gown, and hood)
• All Other Doctoral Candidates – You have a choice of the following:
  • $148.48 incl. tax (purchase – includes cap/tassel, gown, and hood) or
  • $210.08 incl. tax (purchase – includes navy tam w/gold bullion tassel, gown, and hood)
