Frequently Asked Questions

I missed the deadline for ordering my regalia. What now?  Starting April 24, 2024, a late order link will go live on the ordering site (www.gradsupply.com/usa) allowing graduates a chance to order and have it fulfilled at the USA Campus Bookstore.  Please note that the extra regalia quantities will be limited and a $25 late fee will be added to your total.

I have submitted my order, but I made a mistake. How can I change my information?  We strongly encourage participants to review their information before submitting their order. However, you may communicate any changes to your order by clicking here. You will not be able to make changes to your order after the deadline for online ordering. However, you can notify a representative of any changes when you come to pick up your regalia. There will be (limited) extra regalia items on hand to make exchanges.

After submitting my order, I discovered that I will not be able to attend the ceremony. Can I get a refund? Yes.  You may visit www.gradsupply.com/student-orders to request a refund up until the refund request deadlines listed here.  Refunds will not be issued after the deadline for refund requests has passed.

I will not be available to pick up my regalia during the scheduled distribution times. What should I do?
You may send a representative to pick up your regalia on your behalf at the USA Bookstore in the Student Center during the scheduled distribution time. If your representative cannot pick up your regalia during the scheduled distribution time, then this person may stop by the USA Campus Bookstore and pick up your regalia thru Saturday, May 4, 2024.  This person must present his/her valid ID AND a copy of your emailed order confirmation.

What can I keep?

Bachelors/Masters/Specialists/Post-Grad Certificates – You get to keep everything in your regalia package

  • Bachelor packages include a cap, gown, and tassel
  • Master/Specialist/Post-Grad Certificate packages include a cap, gown, tassel, and hood

Doctoral Students – You may keep your headwear (cap or tam) as souvenir items. Doctoral gowns and doctoral hoods are rental items which must be returned to the USA Bookstore, located in the student center on campus, or to Graduate Supply House, using the included pre-paid return shipping label in your regalia package, by the May 20, 2024, deadline.

May I purchase my rental doctoral regalia?  All doctoral candidates must rent their regalia first.  After commencement you will be given the option to buy-out your rental.  Please contact the USA Bookstore following commencement for directions.

What happens if I do not return my rental doctoral regalia?  Bookstore representatives will track rental regalia returns following the ceremonies. Any participants who do not return their regalia by the deadline will have a hold placed on their student account.  A hold placed on your student account due to non-return of the rental regalia will prevent your diploma/transcripts from being mailed, and you may be subject to penalty fees up to full replacement cost of the regalia if it is not returned per the below guidelines.

When and where should doctoral students return their rental regalia?  All Doctoral participants must return their rented regalia to the USA Bookstore, located in the student center on campus, or to Graduate Supply House using the included pre-paid return shipping label in their regalia package by the May 20 2024, deadline.  If you decide to drop off your rental inside the USA Bookstore by the deadline instead of using the included shipping label you will receive a credit of $20 to the account used for the rental.
